About the Role 

We’re looking for a highly experienced Support Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our growing team in Southern Queensland, you'll be pivotal in helping participants navigate their NDIS journey. From managing their packages to ensuring access to the best possible services, you’ll be empowering individuals to meet their personal goals and improve their quality of life. 

Each day presents new challenges, but one thing remains the same: you’ll be making a difference. Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

Service Delivery: Implement person-centred approaches to empower individuals. Build strong relationships with participants and their families to ensure they’re maximizing their NDIS packages. 

 Community Engagement: Forge connections within the local community and collaborate with external stakeholders to advocate for participants’ needs. 

Business Development: Promote Magenta’s support coordination services, expanding our reach and creating new opportunities for growth. 

Finance & Reporting: Effectively manage NDIS budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant financial processes while delivering outstanding support. 

Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure safe and effective support delivery, keeping accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement. 

Strategic Projects: Contribute to the exciting new 3-year plan and shape the future of Magenta with us.

About You 

You are passionate, adaptable, and driven by a commitment to making a real difference. You thrive in dynamic environments and have the ability to build rapport with ease. At your core, you are a professional with heart – capable of handling challenges with grace, always focused on empowering others to achieve their best. 

We’re looking for candidates who have: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the disability sector. 

  • A deep understanding of the NDIS and practical experience supporting people with disabilities. 

  • Strong networks within the sector to help participants access the right services. 

  • A passion for client care and the ability to adapt to each participant’s unique needs. 

  • The ability to keep accurate records, manage NDIS budgets, and handle compliance requirements. 

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (highly regarded). 

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card). 

  • Valid Australian Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle with insurance.
