If you’ve been in the disability sector for a while and are ready for a new challenge, the Support Partner – Generalist role offers a mix of hands-on participant support (around 65%) and office-based coordination (around 35%). It’s perfect for someone who enjoys direct support but also wants to develop skills in rostering, mentoring, and supporting team operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide consistent, person-centred support to participants across a range of needs

  • Build professional relationships with participants, families, and key stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality

  • Support rostering and help maintain stable coverage for frontline staff

  • Assist in coordinating participant activities and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

  • Mentor and support other Support Workers through informal check-ins and guidance

  • Support staff to meet documentation standards and maintain accurate shift notes

  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Contribute to on-call duties on a rotating basis to maintain service stability

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience as a Support Worker supporting people with disability

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation

  • A supportive, team-first attitude

  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent (or working towards) — highly regarded

  • Familiarity with rostering or client management systems such as FlowLogic is an advantage
