If you’ve been in the disability sector for a while and are ready for a new challenge, the Support Partner – Generalist role offers a mix of hands-on participant support (around 65%) and office-based coordination (around 35%). It’s perfect for someone who enjoys direct support but also wants to develop skills in rostering, mentoring, and supporting team operations.
What you’ll do:

Provide consistent, person-centred support to participants across a range of needs

Build professional relationships with participants, families, and key stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality

Support rostering and help maintain stable coverage for frontline staff

Assist in coordinating participant activities and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

Mentor and support other Support Workers through informal check-ins and guidance

Support staff to meet documentation standards and maintain accurate shift notes

Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Contribute to on-call duties on a rotating basis to maintain service stability
What you’ll bring:

Experience as a Support Worker supporting people with disability
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances

Good organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation

A supportive, team-first attitude

Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent (or working towards) — highly regarded

Familiarity with rostering or client management systems such as FlowLogic is an advantage
